With a Smile and a Song is a video and audio-based installation centred around the Walt Disney Company's princess franchise and music's relationship to storytelling within animated films. Through the use of shared audio experiences and slit-scan video projection, three large screens track both thematic and visual trends between Walt Disney's “original princesses” and their films: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty.
